New Los Angeles Firm Founded By Industry
Veterans To Focus On Creative Brand Solutions

 
Los Angeles, January 3, 2002 - Entertainment industry veteran, Tom Connor, announces the launch of TAG Ð a new Los Angeles-based creative brand marketing firm dedicated to helping clients achieve enduring relationships with consumers.
 
Defined as a creative brand solutions company, TAG's specialty is developing the communications tools necessary to build a successful brand across multiple mediums. TAG's services provide clients with brand positioning briefs, brand launch strategies and brand research to set a solid strategic foundation to grow their brand assets, plus the powerful creative executions necessary to bring these strategies to life. TAG's creative services include work in on-air, print, radio, web and iTV.
 
"Our background is purposefully based in entertainment marketing," says Tom Connor, founder and president. Connor has put together a diverse team of top creative professionals, including Anne White, longtime member of the BDA Board of Governors and the organization's current Chairperson. Former Head of Business Development and Executive Producer at 3 Ring Circus, White was chosen by Connor as TAG's managing director and is also one of the company's principals. White also sits on the board of PROMAX, the world's premier association for marketing and promotion in the electronic media.

Before founding TAG, Tom Connor was the Head of Marketing & Brand Strategy responsible for the creation of a strategic branding and marketing practice within 3 Ring Circus, a Los Angeles-based broadcast design company. He developed a proprietary brand positioning methodology to assess, position and grow entertainment brands for such high profile clients as the Fox Network, Fox Family, Court TV, Oxygen, Hallmark, Astral Media (Canada), Televisa (Mexico), Discovery, and Cablevision.
 
Prior to 3 Ring Circus, Tom Connor was Senior Vice President, Marketing and Creative Services at Paramount Pictures Television. During his 13 years with the company, Connor was responsible for the creation and strategic execution of all creative consumer, trade and affiliate marketing campaigns for the studio's television properties. These properties included Star Trek: The Next Generation, Deep Space Nine, Frasier, Entertainment Tonight, Cheers, and Hard Copy in addition to international product.
