At the heart of our approach is the idea that design is only effective when it is employed to support a clear brand strategy. Simply expressed, a brand is the relationship you have with your audience and this relationship must be clearly defined. You must know which piece of ‘brain turf’ you want to occupy in your audience’s heads before starting the design process, otherwise it will be ineffective. TAG’s motto is ‘design with purpose’.

OUTREACH
To begin with, we like to talk, to understand your business and creative goals, gain some insight into your audience and your competitive environment. We like to meet you and as many of your team as possible, senior and junior, because personal relationships are key and will help deal with difficult issues when they arise.
We then write an internal briefing document to develop a common understanding of what we want to achieve before briefing any of our creative people.
CREATIVE
DEVELOPMENT
Almost all projects begin with the logo, either because a new logo needs to be designed or because an existing logo needs to be incorporated into a new package. It’s at this stage that we look for a core creative idea which will hold the entire package together and communicate your brand values. We call this the creative platform and its from this core idea we will build out the design and tone for the entire package.
INTERACT
We make extensive use of our secure client staging area to post concepts, designs and animations as the package progresses. This enables all accredited people on the project team to leave feedback at their convenience and acts as a development record for each deliverable.
DELIVERY
Once completed, we generally deliver all the completed elements and appropriate working files on portable hard drives. While strong creative ideas are at the heart of what we do, our clients know they can trust us to manage the process of getting those ideas into a shape they can use to powerfully influence their audience.
